What Students Are Saying About Patty's Classes

  • This was the first video class I did with Patty. It was great, and I love the end product! In this class I learned several new techniques that I still use all the time, such as doing the ssk stitch in a single move, and knitting backward and forward. I loved this class and ended up taking another one later in the year. Thanks for all and for your excellent teaching style. - Elaine Keavney

  • It is extremely hard not to write a book with all that I have learned about knitting a sweater and being able to modify the pattern to my preferences. Patty is a wonderful teacher who really encourages the knitter to try and figure things out on their own . . . but always there with her ever watchful eye. - Mary

  • The videos so far have been incredible. The way I figure it, I’ve already learned enough to feel like the class is a great big bargain. - Elizabeth

I have been knitting for over 55yrs - ever since my Memere taught me when I was a young girl. I have enjoyed many aspects of knitting and have done a few KALs and some international club projects. However, when I was given Patty’s book as a gift from my mom, I was so impressed and so I explored an online class with Patty through Vogue Live. I was intrigued and explore other options to learn from Patty. The Corcoran sweater class was the first “live” option and it has been absolutely AWESOME!!!! One tip for anyone taking a class from Patty is to trust that she says nothing that is not important to listen to and her instructions on video and in writing are dense - no fluff included!! So, play the videos as many times as needed to “get it”😍 Most importantly, my sweater is gorgeous! It means so much to learn so much AND have the product turn out so beautifully!
